The new location for Whole Foods on the former Star Market site, will encompass a more ‘interactive feel’ for consumers.

A farmer’s market, take-out windows for coffee and ice cream, and departments which will utilize outdoor space as well as indoors are but a few of the new features we can expect.

Whole Foods Market also aims to live up to its name with this location, giving not only a farmer’s market feel with a semi-outdoor produce department, but offering some parking space for a weekly farmer’s market to set up and operate. In addition, the new facility will have an on-site bakery, and an ice cream and coffee location indoors with a window to the outside for customers walking from the nearby little league field. Whole Foods will also provide food for the concessions stand. There are also plans for solar power at this location.
