· Pocket Full of Tales and The Center for Arts in Natick will present “Frog Prince Fan Day” on April 25 at 11 a.m. at TCAN on Summer Street. While you may not be the one kissing a frog who turns out to be a prince, you and your family will get to catch a one act presentation of “The Frog Prince,” followed by interactive games, art projects and more.  For tickets, call TCAN at 508-647-0097.

The Pocket Full of Tales Theater Company offers children, ages three to nine, the chance to experience live theater productions performed by grown-ups who, in the words of Peter Pan, just won’t grow up! The innovative theater company is comprised of professional actors and advanced acting students from their after-school musical theater workshops to play child roles in their shows. The company produces plays from a wide array of sources: some come from famous children’s books, including guest performances by the authors themselves; some come direct from Artistic Director Kristy Pace; some are inspired by unbelievable stories the kids in our workshops invent; and some come from more traditional sources like classic fairytales and popular local play companies. The one thing you can be sure of every month they’ll be offering something completely different than the last. Pocket Full of Tales Theater Company offers classes for children, ages 16 months to 16 years old, in musical theater, drama, music, art, creative movement, and Shakespeare. Information on their current workshop titles can be found at www.pocketfulloftales.com. Performances and classes are held at the Center for the Arts in Natick. Children will be happy to learn that they can celebrate their birthday at the theater. You pay only $5 per guest and the cast will sing to your child at the end of the show. If you’d like the theater to come to you, a storyteller will come to your party and let the party guests be the actors complete with costumes. Storyteller parties are $150.
