“Craigie on Main: Recently renamed and relocated to Cambridge, this bistro will serve its regular à la carte menu and also a special four-course menu that includes an amuse-bouche and dessert wine. A vegetarian menu will also be available (5:30–10 PM, plus a bar menu until midnight; $75 per person for the prix fixe; $61 for the vegetarian menu; 617-497-5511).

dante: This East Cambridge Med will be hosting a four-course Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner on Christmas Eve, featuring recipes from chef Dante de Magistris’ grandmother (4–9 PM; $75 per person; 617-497-4200).

Davio’s: On Christmas Eve, this Park Square Italian will feature a four-course Feast of the Seven Fishes that includes choices like creamy oyster stew, baked razor clams, grilled calamari salad, braised codfish and lobster (5–9 PM; $65 per person; 617-357-4810).

Lumière: The à la carte Christmas Eve menu at this Newton French mixes in a few Hanukkah dishes like latkes with yuletide fare including chestnut soup with caramelized apples, Calvados crème fraîche and thyme oil, roast duck breast and braised Gloucester monkfish (5–9 PM; dishes are $12–$27 for appetizers, $27–$42 for entrees; 617-244-9199).

Miel: This elegant Provençal in the InterContinental Boston on the Waterfront hotel will feature a three-course menu that includes oysters, monkfish and chocolate hazelnut Bûche de Noël for dessert (5–11 PM; $68 per person; 617-217-5151).

UpStairs on the Square: At this New American on Harvard Square, Christmas Eve dinner is a three-course affair offering choices from an array of dishes like crispy chestnuts, prime grilled rib-eye steak with creamed Parmesan spinach and Yukon gold potato purée, and gingerbread with cream cheese frosting, spiced candied orange and cranberry sauce (seatings start at 5 PM; $85 per person, $42.50 per child; 617-864-1933).
