The Holliston High Panthers football team “exploded for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to walk off with a 28-14 win over Dover-Sherborn in the Tri-Valley League opener for both teams,” reports The MetroWest Daily News…

The end of the first half found the Panthers leading at 6 – 0.

Dover-Sherborn’s Andrew Perlmutter led the Raiders drive, scoring the game’s tying touchdown.

In the fourth, Holliston senior John Themelli, “broke through the right side for 16 yards and the final Panther touchdown.” Holliston QB Sean Mayo had three touchdown passes and a TD rush.

Despite the buckets of rain the place was packed; just swelling with community support for the teams, and in particular, the two recent losses of Holliston’s Joey Larracey and Tim O’Connell.
